Jin Shin Jyutsu is a gentle, non-invasive touch therapy that balances the body's energy. Like our nervous system, our energy system flows along specific pathways that branch off, regulating various areas and organs of the body. Our health and harmony depends on the energy's free and even distribution. When the stress of daily living disrupts this free and even movement of energy, we increase our tendency to become out of balance or ill. This art is so disarmingly simple and gentle that its potency is often overlooked. Yet, as the accumulative effects set in, health, harmony and a more balanced demeanor result. Furthermore, Jin Shin Jyutsu's methods are so easy and unobtrusive you can be use them on yourself anytime and anywhere and they can be used safely in conjunction with any other therapy or medication.

Application

Each session is approximately one hour and is done while the client lies fully clothed and simply relaxes. The practitioner works with 12 vital energy pathways and 52 points along these pathways. With no manipulation or pressure, a practitioner simply holds various points to “jumpstart” the energy and help it to flow smoothly again.
